During this session, Curtiss Grymala will run through some of the handiest tips and tricks for developing your own WordPress theme. Grymala will run through a series of functions and features you can use when developing your theme. This session assumes some basic knowledge of PHP and the WordPress theme API.

Curtiss Grymala, founder of Ten-321 Enterprises, is the university webaster at the University of Mary Washington (UMW). At UMW, Grymala manages all custom development for the University’s unique implementation of WordPress as its CMS. Grymala has developed more than 50 custom WordPress plugins, released 10 public plugins and created more than 20 custom themes for various organizations.
